Manufacturing and Design:

At IW, we do it right and we do it all. Our completely equipped machine shop, our electrical/electronic design and assembly departments form an integral part of IW's overall manufacturing capabilities.

The vast majority of our production machinery, test accessories and equipment and proprietary processes were conceived and produced in house. This direct, hands-on approach to every aspect of design, manufacturing and testing pays a substantial dividend in our ability to provide our customers with high performance products in a timely fashion.

Furthermore, IW's design and development proficiency is enhanced by CAD and computerized microwave analysis. Our ability to work with systems and applications personnel at the design stage ensures the optimal integration of IW's products with regard to form fit and function.

With our 100 years of combined microwave transmission line design experience and numerous patents relating to both cable and connector innovations, we are able to meet your needs, however diverse, both quickly and confidently.

Testing and Installation:

Our testing, inspection and quality control procedures are MIL-I-45208 approved. Measurements of return loss, insertion loss, phase matching, time delay and/ or amplitude matching up to 62 GHz are available.

Environmental tests such as humidity, salt spray, vibration, thermal shock, flex testing, hydrostatic pressure and others can be conducted by IW or by approved laboratories nearby.

Under normal circumstances, IW can schedule the design, manufacture and delivery of your order in four to six weeks. All products are built to your specifications using the most advanced equipment and assembly techniques, including MIL-STD-2000A soldering.

We can provide on-site assistance in cable routing and installation. Engineering assistance is available for optimal cable/ connector configuration in rack systems, black boxes and other packaging areas where transmission line performance is critical to overall system performance.
